Toyota Fortuner is a mid-size SUV based on the Toyota Hilux. Originally installed only in Thailand but later also in Indonesia and other countries, the Fortuner is built on the platform of the Toyota Hilux pick-up.

This car is the biggest seller in its category (SUV / PPV) in the Philippines and Thailand today.

Fortuner is not available in Japan, Europe, North America, Australia or China. By using the pick-up-based SUV segment in the market, offering Toyota Hilux Surf (Japanese), 4Runner (North America) and the Land Cruiser Prado (Europe, Australia and China). However, in some countries of Central America, Toyota Fortuner offers next 4Runner and Land Cruiser Prado.
